I guess you are talking about Bill Hohn...( for the record it was 3 ejections-1 Angel 2 Rangers)
Bill Hohn # 29
MAJOR LEAGUE SERVICE TIME: 19 Years
CAREER: Became a member of the Major League staff in 1989...has worked the All-Star Game (1994) and the Division Series (1996, 98, 2005)...previously umpired in the Gulf Coast League (1977), Florida State League (1978), Southern League (1979-80), Pacific Coast League (1981-86), International League (1987-88), Florida Instructional League (1977-81) and Puerto Rican League (1982-83).
From one of the news reports from the game in question: it’s clear that Hohn has absolutely no patience for anyone questioning the judgment of himself or of one of his crewmates.
Admittedly He did have a number of games where he seemed quick-trigger...Now not being there, I dont know.....
But some results can speak for themselves......Bill Hohn is not on the 2008 Playoff Roster..
but still....Look at his resume...he has over 30 years in professional baseball as an umpire....He is one of the best 68 umpires in the game, and as such you will probably not get us to criticize him...ESPECIALLY in ejection situations......each one of us has our own tolerance levels...
