For those of you who follow Billy Butler, he just turned 19 in April. He was drafted in the first round byt KC last year. He absolutely tore up short seasonlast year and Low A and High A this year. He was moved up to AA and is 4 for 8 in his first 2 games. He may be the rare position player who makes his pro debut before 21. He has 2 years. Wow. He is from Wolfson hs in Jax. Way to go Billy. Quite impressive. Billy has posted here before. Good luck.

Billy is not just a promising pro baseball player he is a good kid. Polite, endearing and totally focused. Wolfson played in our 2004 tournament (Orlando National Baseball Tournament) at Tinker Field in Orlando. He hit a walk off grand slam OVER the scoreboard (Wolfson was down 6-3) in the semi final game that people still talk about!

Billy was drafted at 3B but is listed as a OF on the Royals website.
