Algae - Here's an article that's posted in a thread in the KY forum by JohnLex7. The article is on a local HS senior that has had to reinvent himself so to speak. He's not a pitcher and has never thrown 90, however it's interesting to see a kid have that kind of determination to make it happen.

The guy that worked with him was the coach at Georgetown College near Lexington for years. A really nice fella.

Billy Wagner was born right-handed. When he was very young, I think 5 yo, he broke his right arm playing football in the yard. Shortly after it healed, he broke it again, playing football. In the meantime he switched to using his left hand and the rest is history.

I'm with Sluggo on this - during Wagner's couple years here in Philly, they cronicled every aspect of his life - the story was repeated broken right arms as a YOUNGSTER - led to him throwing lefty, not in HS.
