So I was looking at buying a new wood bat and I heard Birch is stronger than maple and more durable. Is this true. Does anyone have one and do they like it.
I purchased a few from Hoosier Bat co at the convention in January for the boys to try. SO far they have high praise. They get harder with use as the wood compacts. This I guess is the same theory behind the composites.
I bought some bats from birchbats.com. So far no complaints, but I only played one game with them. They seem pretty durable but one never really knows. If anything goes wrong, I'll let you know.
