Does anyone know how long BSC will be restricted from participation in the SCAC tournament and beyond? Is it just this year, or is it a multiple-year restriction?

From the SCAC website:
Birmingham-Southern did not field a team last season. Games against BSC will count in the division standings, but BSC is not eligible for conference post-season play.
I'm presuming its only for this season, but the website does not clarify.

My son was just admitted to BSC, and intends to play baseball. He's still waiting on acceptance letters from Case Western, Elon and North Carolina State (Engineering). He'll probably get admitted to Elon and NC State, but will have a problem because he'd be a walk on at these two DI programs and his chances would be slim. If he gets admitted to Case Western, the coach would love to have him on the team.
