Lets ask, my-mans Father, ZACK DUKE
My best friend is an architect, his father was an architect, and my buddies 16 year old son is bound to be an architect. When Junior finishes HS and college and applies for jobs there is a chance he will be looked at in a higher regard because of his fathers and grandfathers accomplishments. If I was a headhunter looking for an architect, that "bloodline" issue would be a plus. It would indicate to me that the person has been mentally exposed to the experience and may better understand what it takes to be sucessful.
If you agree with this statements, substitute "baseball player" for "architect".
In either case, if you have some tools, the bloodline intangible is a plus.
