Had a friends son who went to a Blue Grey event in SC. He stopped at a D1 school on the way to talk to a coach who had sent him a couple letters. Coach basically didn't give them the time of day. Kid went to Blue/Grey event...did very, very well. Friend and his son got home and had an email from the same coach that blew them off offering them an official visit. Word had gotten from Blue Grey to him in less than a day. Needless to say, they didn't go. The event was an 8 hour drive from the school.
They STILL owe me a refund from a cancelled Blue-Grey event at Oglethorpe College in Atlanta years ago. I called for almost two years and never got my money back. Only e-mails inviting me to use the 'credit' for another B-G event. They cancelled, not me, so I never understood why I didn't get the money back.

needless to say, youngest son will not attend any
B-G events. Nor will I recommend to any of our baseball friends.
Blue Grey still owes my son his championship ring from 2009 event in VA. They said that they didn't have the money to pay for them after a mix up in the initial order. Most of the games the guy supposed to coach the team was in the press box because of rain and then when he came out he spent time with any player that signed up for their recruiting service. Not worth it.....go to a Perfect Game event!
