My 04 just finished 2 years at Blue Ridge. He was going to red shirt his 1st year as their were alot of pitchers, but with some injuries evident after the first couple of games he was activated. Slowly at first, then he was starting, his 2nd year he was the #1 starter.
Coach Jaksa does know the game, and my 02 played with him at UNCA. They also have coach Rudder as an assistant who is well liked by the players too.
Coach Towe is no nonsense. If you are the #1 recruit and don't pull your weight, he WILL let you know.
If you do go to BR, you will learn, run, workout, run, have mandatory study hall, you will attend your classes or face coach Towe.
My son thought it was a great experience and will be going to Mars Hill in the fall.
