The weather was beautiful Tuesday, so I decided to drop by Lindsey Nelson Stadium several hours before game time to offer some of my vast baseball knowledge to the Vols. Wink
As soon as I entered the stadium, a fellow came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I stuck my chest out and informed him that I was a friend of Hiwassee Vol's, and that HV had sent me to offer some help to the Big Orange. The gentleman told me to wait right there. Now I figured he was going to get someone to escort me down to the field, or to take me to the clubhouse, or even getting a key to let me in the press box so I could relax until time for warm-ups. In 3 minutes, UT police showed up, dragged me out of the stadium, and tossed me onto the street, Todd Helton Drive no less. What's up with this kind of treatment? Confused

I know it's hard to believe that I took the time to type this, but things are slow here in the sticks. noidea

I almost went to the game to see Craig Cobb pitch, but I wound up staying home and getting caught up with some work.

eagle_fan, Always tell them you are a friend of Bizazz. He is still in good standing and sits real close. Wink When I go to the games, I just stay real quite and wave my orange and white shaker. If I do any more I may win a pizza and I can't afford the calories. biglaugh

I saw the highlights on the news, big win for my Vols. Congratulations on Craig's win. He gives his all when ever on the mound.

Eagle Fan, in most cases popcorn could probably be considered "de minimus". With the prices they charge at athletic events you do run into serious danger with the IRS. Big Grin

I let HiwasseeVol use my seats a couple of years ago. Since then the usher insists on my showing the ticket before he'll let me go down to my seat.
