The "How NYC can eat you up" topic gets into ARod being booed in NY.

I've long argued that very few of the 30,000+ at a ball game are true baseball fans.

True baseball fans know how hard this game is and they also know that one game is in no way indicative of a team's or player's ability to play the game.

ARod is in a slump and will come out of it. Hopefully, he'll come out of it after a trade to the Red Sox!

2-3 years ago I was at Wrigley and Sammy Sosa had struck out three times against the Astros (Carlos Beltran hit 3 HRs). Sammy was booed relentlessly. Then he came up in the 11th and hit a walk-off home run. The crowd went crazy as if they loved him all along.

You can surely be disappointed that your favorite player/team does poorly but to boo? I don't get it.

The people sitting in the corporate box seats talking on their cell phones while waving at the camera are morons and should stay home and watch the World Cup.
