I just finished "The Innocent Man" by John Grisham. You all would find it very fascinating as it details the life of Ron Williamson who was an Oklahoma high school pheenom and then played minor league ball for a few years. He fell on hard times and then was accused of murder, convicted, and sentenced to the death penalty.
It's Grisham's first Non-Fiction and it is much more un-believable than much of his fiction...
It's a good read and in paperback. Enjoy (except that the truth of it will disturb you).

Excellent book that I bought in hardback when it first came out. Thought I'd have my high school baseball son read it because he's read many other Grisham books. Very good book, well written, but very disturbing that it is NOT fiction. Hard to imagine this stuff still goes on but it does resemble the mess @ Duke with the Lacrosse team. Would highly rec. this book to everyone.
