Boys of Baseball Win NATC

Congrats on assembling an all star team to play in this event. With all of the talent he had on the team, they should have won. Congrats.

Is placing the best players the you can find on one team not what the NATC week @ Cooperstown Dreamspark is all about? That's what makes the NATC tournament so great, most all of the teams are very good and have great players which allows the kids the opportunity to test their abilities against the best 12 year olds in the World. I find it quite remarkable that the Boys of Baseball National Travel Team had the maturity to meet each other (they had never played together before this tournament) on Friday and still win the toughest 12 year old tournament in the world the following Thursday.

I wasn't aware that is what NATC week is all about. Handpicking some of the best 12U players from across the country and winning a tourney isn't exactly my idea of an accomplishment.

To say these are the best 12U's in the world is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? They may be *some* of the best but I would venture to guess there are some other pretty good 12U's given the size of earth.

I'll take your word on maturity but I don't see how that factored into it in the ocntext you provided.

BTW, the GA Seminoles called and they want their players back.

Their organization has those accomplishments. This particular team was flown into CDP to win the tourney. They recruit kids from across the US.
