Break away bases

We've used these bases that just sit into a little square, plastic frame and pop out easy. The problem is the material they are made of. They're junk. They are $350, but last one season before a corner falls off of them. I believe they are polyeurothane.

Does anybody know of a durable "breakaway" base that we may get more than a year out of. I was checking out the Rogers breakaway bases. They are $450, but I'm willing to spend the cash if they last.
