That is CLUTCH!

On Sunday, line drive off the pitcher, off Bretts leg, he scoops it up...throws perfect strike to the plate to nip the go ahead run trying to score...Not only playing well at the plate but also in the field...Salukis headed for some tough competition during Spring Break....going to play Iowa 2 games and Notre Dame.... hopefully they pull through....
Thanks guys for noticing....Yeah, he is doing ok, but the hamstring he pulled after the Florida trip, sidelined him for a while and the guy that played 2nd (Scott Elmendorf) is playing All American ball....Hitting 400 something and fielding well....(Plus they have become BEST FRIENDS and are sharing an apartment next year!) So, he and Scott share 2nd. It's a shame that he doesn't start all the time, but I guess as a Freshman, he should be happy with ANY starts!

Styles, can't wait til we play you guys! We have run into a couple of guys that Bret has played with in the past and its great to see them... We saw Brandon Copp a couple weeks ago...He got HUGE!! must have put on 30 pounds.

Woodly, were you at the games over the weekend?
Sounds like it!

Thanks again, and PLAY BALL...It's such a GREAT
time of year!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!
