Some may know the story but not his name.
Brian Stow is a father of 2, and a paramedic from San Jose, Ca.
As more information is becoming available locally, the situation is sounding very, very grim.
Until last Thursday, Brian Stow spent most of his days attending to helping and saving lives of others.
Today, he is in a hospital in Los Angeles in critical condition, with severe head and especially brain injuries.
Last Thursday, at Opening Day, he was beaten in the parking lot after the game.
Information from those who worked with Brian as a paramedic is not very promising in describing the extent of his brain injuries.
Apparently a trust and pay/pal account is being set up to provide some financial assistance for any who can do so.
Clearly, Brian needs the support of every fan of baseball. Please have him in your thoughts and prayers.

My prayers are being sent.

I am absolutely sick about this story. Fans (short for fanatics) have gone too far in this country in many cases. Obviously in this case, an evil was committed and these so-called "fans" i.e., hooligans have gone "criminally" too far.

I have seen verbal fan abuse (to visiting fans) at high school games, college games, and pro games. It is a free country and only morons believe they are helping their respective team by abusing (verbally and/or physically) the other team's fans. This whole attitude needs to stop but I fear it may only get worse as we get more and more imbeciles seeking out their 15 minutes of fame.
