Broken end cap

My son's Nike bat(black) had the end cap get knocked out. I could JB weld it back on but it is damaged along the protruding groove that holds it in.(split 3/4 the way around)

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a broken Nike with a good end cap?

Do you think it is possible to put another one back, or should I just throw in the towel?

We had a Catalyst that end cap came off. I called Louisville Slugger and they said to use Gorilla glue.

Buy a really cheap Nike bat from Walmart, etc, take the cap off and glue it on your son's bat. Or call Nike and ask them to send you another cap.
