Brooke Point 3 Forest Park 2

Brooke Point wins it's season opener by defeating visiting Forest Park 3-2.

Starting Pitcher Evan Houde (Sr) scattered 4 hits and 1 run over 5 innings to pick up the win.

Chris Denno (Jr) came on in the 6th and picked up the save.

Offense was led by Junior 1B David Dilegge, who had 3 hits and played stellar defense. Junior Outfielder Thomas Washington drilled a 2 run HR to get the first runs on the board.

The Black-Hawks play their first District game next Friday night at Albemarle HS.

In have heard that Andrew Tyree is a Blackhawk now. Any truth? Is so, good for him....and BP

Yes, AT is in fact a Black-Hawk. He should make his debut next week.
