Great MLB  moment last night.  Didn't know who he was.  Saw him duck a 101 mph Aroldis fastball to the head the night before in a heated Yanks/Rays battle.  It has become a rivalry and they genuinely don't like each other.  He struck out later that AB, ending the game on the wrong side of the battle.  Steps up in first AB the next night and hits a bomb... 'lil extra strut around the bases.  Later in the game, hits another, providing the offense for the win.  Says all the right PC things in the interview but body language said something entirely different.   Rays take 8 of 10 from the loaded Yanks in season series.

Some good stuff goin' on.

Will Twins/Tribe/White Sox dance to the very end.

Padres!

Will the villain Astros continue to lurk over the A's shoulder?

Will Philly or Miami make a darkhorse playoff run?

Less than a month to go and really only about 7 teams out of it.  A little streak can put most of the next tier of teams right back in it.

If pitching is the deciding factor, look out for the Tribe. With any run production, they are dangerous.

Yup, my team!  Hate that they gave up Clevinger... may work out in the long run but as a fan, not interested in years down the road until they get here .  I can't believe they couldn't get a more proven and ready impact bat/OF for him.  Starling Marte.

The whole rotation is doing great at the moment but aside from Bieber, I would much rather roll out Clev in a playoff game than any of the others.  Just better complete package of stuff and effectiveness.  I don't see Civale or Plesac becoming front line type guys.  McKenzie might some day but right now he is missing spots far too often... half his K's are missing opposite quadrant of target.  Lots of effective misses.  That won't work long term... development still needed.  Carrasco can be that #2 guy but needs to be closer to healthy and sharp than he is right now.

Don't know enough about Arias.. hope you're right.  Can't argue with his early success but Plesac stuff just not downright nasty as we've seen in our rotation in recent years - Kluber, Beiber, Bauer, Carrasco, Clevenger, Salazar and Andrew Miller from the pen.  Hoping I'm wrong there too.

Should have said the key to the Tribe front office was Arias..... I'm with you, they needed a OF bat.
