"I had a friend was a big baseball player
back in high school
He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy
Saw him the other night at this roadside bar
I was walking in, he was walking out
We went back inside sat down had a few drinks
but all he kept talking about was ----- Glory Days"

That era of Springsteen I did not care for. Glory Days was one of my least favorites. Reminds me too much of a commercialized Springsteen.

I enjoyed Springsteen's early work far more while he was becoming a rising star and playing in the Jersey clubs. That's Springsteen at his best. Showing up at clubs and jamming. He has planty of unreleased music that is just fantastic.

However, the Boss shows never disappoints and gives his crowd their money's worth. Springsteen concerts are among the best I've went to. He and the E-Street Band put on great shows.

There's plenty Springteen boots on youtube..Go check 'em out. Especially his early stuff. Lot of great music that never made release, He's one of the greatest songwriters and his early stuff really shows it.
