I'm still very fond of the school, and many of its alumni. I'm going to give Bucknell a pass on this one IF it proven that it was one person fudging the numbers over the course of 6-7 years. If it was institutionally systemic, then I think the President will have a lot of "'splaining" to do.

Villanova Law fudged the numbers to upgrade their status. The harm done stills follows them several years later.

I am with Fenway on this one. One person, a limited number of scores, you really can't supervise every step in the data entry process in a busy admissions office. ( Emory's 'confession' of data fudging went deeper, I think. And also Pomona College.)
In any industry there are people who will cheat or fudge. Not saying its right at all, but it doesn't mean that it reflects poorly on the whole organization, as long as the organization self-reports it and takes appropriate actions.
