I haven't seen this verified in print yet but I've heard rumors Chairman Reinsdorf has sought options to rent out this facility for the 2009 season and beyond.
I'm hearing he figures after another year wallowing in last place the honeymoon from the fluke of 05' will be over and he'll need to threaten another move out of Chicago.
They may be able to fill this stadium and it may be even more of a launching pad for homers.
Sunday - First place Cubs celebrating while the White Sox, one of the worst teams in all of baseball, officially hang em up even though they really quit in July. Go Cubs!!!! Win it but come up with a better song after games.
