Hey Fellow Coaches,

I've been wondering what are some of the things that you do to build up a players confidence who has lost their confidence and their self-esteem, more specifically a pitcher.

I have numerous books that deal with this issue, and that I use. I know that there is positive reinforcement, visualization, positive settings, creating that winning mental approach, etc.

But I was just curious as to what are somethings you've done in the past that've worked quite well.

Thanks for the tips!

Maybe you should have them pitch against a bad team, maybe that will help them build up their confidence.

Building up their confidence, you can help them with that, but it has to start with them. It's their own mental approach that will help them with the confidence building

I'm sure other people will have their own inputs as well. You just gotta go out there and believe in yourself. Ya gotta believe, then you'll succeed
