I was wondering how accurate is the first bushnell radar gun not the speedster.

We had the bushnell radar gun, the cheaper of the two....is that the speedster?
Anyway, after less than a year of use the plastic trigger broke and while it will still off and on, it will not register speeds anymore. You get what you pay for, I guess.
Accuracy, however, was within a mph of a a borrowed Jugs gun we used.
If I had it to do over again, I would definitely order the more expensive of the two guns.

Put the first Bushnell next to a Stalker Sport & it always read 1-2 mph slower than the Stalker. Never more than 2, never less than 1.
I have the Speedster. I bought it many years ago. It has some bugs but the readings are pretty close to a Jugs gun they use at a local training establishment. I'm not going to worry about 1 to 2 mph.
If you have a defective unit, send it to Bushnell, check the web. I've had mine repaired (twice) and they are pretty prompt and so far I say the price was fair. (I had trigger problems too, they just replaced the unit last time I sent it in)
