There's a Stalker video out there that seems to show that. However, here is my experience. I have owned all three versions of Bushnell guns and currently (as current as last Saturday) used a Bushnell Spedster III and Stalker ATR. The BIG difference is range. The first two versions of the Bushnell really only had about a 70' effective range. If you are working out a pitcher and could stand right behid him, you'll get a reading as accurate as a Juggs or Stalker. The Speedster II increased the range to about 125'. So for bullpens - great gun for the price. If there's a very short foul teritory area behind home, the Speedster II is adequate for live game readings. However, on a normal HS field, the Bushnell isn't going to pick up the ball until well after it's out of the pitcher's hand. I was behind the backstop at a hs game Saturday with both guns - about 150 - 175' or so from the mound. The Bushnell did, indeed read about 7mph slower than the Stalker. Having used them side-by-side in a bullpen session though, they were usually within 1mph.

If all you need it for is gunning pitchers from close range (workouts, bullpens, etc.) the Bushnell is a great choice. I cab also attest that their service department is quick and easy to work with. they carry a 2-year warranty. I had mine stop working over the summer. It was almost 2 years old. They honored the warranty and quickly sent me another one when they couldn't fix it. However, if you plan to use it at games, you'll need a Stalker or a Juggs.

The Velocity gives min/max readings (release/plate).  If the min/max difference is 8-11 mph, the max reading is good.  If it's less, then you pressed the trigger too late, and the reading is no good.

Some of the old Bushnells don't give two readings, and I wouldn't rely on them.

None of the Speedsters give two readings. They lock on the fastest reading (out of the hand).

Pitching instructor had a Bushnell someone gave him. Always used behind the pitcher due to lack of space behind catcher. I bought a used Stalker Sport & brought over. We compared & Bushnell was consistently 1-2 mph slower than the Stalker. Never compared from behind the catcher but have heard the range issues cause it to record slower the further away you get.

You'll also fin the Juggs radar guns are 1-2 mph different than Stalker.

I've heard the newer Juggs record a higher reading than Stalkers. My understanding is not an issue with accuracy but when the ball is picked up. Jugs getting reading out of hand faster and same with Stalker compared to Bushnell. Never compared other than directly behind pitcher but have read the further away from Pitcher the more disparity (Bushnell). I've assumed that's reason people complain about 7-8 MPH slow readings. Guess it really only matters what the Stalker reads. That being said I think the Bushnell will get close from behind pitcher. Not sure about newer Bushnell's.

That's been what I've found when standing next to a Juggs gun with my Stalker. The 7-8mph difference with Bushnell was something thrown about a lot. Before I had a Stalker and only used my Bushnell, I remember thinking that I wish it were true - my kid would have been throwing 90 as a 13yo. Bushnell is fine if you can get within about 75-80 feet (I think I may have said 100-125 earlier but I believe I was thinking more about Stalker then), which means basically right behind the catcher. Behind the pitcher will be quite acccurate. Bushnell claims a range of 70' on the Speedster II, but I've found it accurate a little farther out (but not much).
