Very proud moment for me on Sunday. My son played in his first college game this past weekend and I was the one with the butterflies. Played a DH on Sunday and had a great outing. Looking for better things to come for this young man.
That reminds me of your description of what it's like when your son pitches in Omaha. I believe your words were "It feels like your hair is on fire." You were right.

Congrats on surviving your FIRST college game. By my math (not including Fall games), 56 spring games x 4 years = 224 games + the post season.
I still see senior player parent's pacing, and jabbering like monkeys during games. So, I don't think the butterlies go away any time soon. They are here to stay! Best of luck to you and your son.
