Outstanding article today in College Baseball Insider by Florida Atlantic's Kevin Cooney. See http://www.collegebaseballinsider.com/ for the article.

Specifically, he raves about the experience of playing at the home of the Louisanna Lafayette Rajin' Cajuns. There are some outstanding baseball opportunities out there and this proves it from an opposing coach's point of view. The Cajuns play an aggressive schedule against national contenders and obviously enjoy the home cooking. Dad04's son - Buddy Glass is a star pitcher for the Cajuns.

If your son is the type to plan two or three meals ahead and rarely misses, like someone I know well, Lafayette might be the place to be. A proficiency with horse hide and aluminum is helpful also.

FAU gave the Cajuns all they could handle for 3 days. We did handle it though. Coach Cooneys column got alot of attention from Cajun fans, who promptly crammed his email in-box with good wishes.

Here is a cajun Christmas card.
