As you may have seen they have had several head coaches over the last few years including Pat Shine (UCI), Dave Taylor (Chico State), and current Vince Beringhele who was a long time UCLA asst coach under Coach Adams and most recently LMU Asst Coach under Cruz.

Recently they had a good year under Pat Shine going to the DII CWS but have been in the middle of the pack in the strong DII CCAA league.

CSULA Baseball

They play a pretty hard nose type of game, as others have mentioned, they are not in the best of areas of LA.

From a parent's point of view, they tend to have live stats but no audio or video.
Just to add a little to what has been said, the school is essentially a commuter campus in a lousy part of Los Angeles, just east of downtown essentially right on the 10 freeway. No campus life at all to speak of.

Baseball program has had decent success and as mentioned above the current coach was a long time assistant at ucla and a short time at Loyola. It was long expected he'd take over at ucla when the previous coach, Gary Adams retired, but with a change of A.D. and other issues, didn't happen. But he is a very solid baseball guy.
