I saw a post asking information about the northwood league and I have a question about the CCL.  My son has been assigned to the So Cal Catch in the CCL.  Any comments or information would be greatly appreciated.  I know the Catch are a big FCA based team and that suits my son perfectly as long as the baseball they play is good as well.

My son played one year in the CCL. It is a competitive league probably at the upper end of collegiate leagues as far as competition. They play 50ish games and the top teams go to Omaha for the collegiate league championships so it is a pretty long summer. They have added a number of new teams since he played so I am not sure about the newer teams but the Foresters and SLO Blues field teams as good as any in the country. (exl the the Cape) They typically have to be at the field around 1ish and games start at 5 and they don't get home until 9-10 so the days are long and filled with travel also. Weather is excellent for baseball in SoCal during the summer with no rain outs or weather impacting playing
