Anyone out there work for the California Department of State Architecture that pull some strings to get plans for a high school baseball scoreboard looked at any quicker? Or has anyone purchased a scoreboard from Daktronics that was able to get through the DSA? Any help would be great!

During my middle son's senior year we finally had raised the money, we thought, to put up an electronic scoreboard. We went to the principal and throught the school district for the quote. Astronomical and long time to install. As booster president I asked the principal what we could do, he said what he doesn't know won't hurt him. So, taking care to do it properly, we got licensed contractors to oversee and do the electrical. The booster club did the physical labor and we had a scoreboard at about 1/3 of the cost of doing it the way the district wanted us to.

I was on campus the other day, watching the team, as my youngest will be attending the HS and ran into the principal. Asked him how he liked the scoreboard? His reponse was that we didn't have a scoreboard
