Folks,

I coach a group of American kids who are stationed overseas with their servicemember families. Budgets are shrinking and fundraising is virtually impossible overseas.

One thing these boys could really benefit from is a used pitching machine - especially one that can throw curveballs.

If any of you might know of a program that has an old machine sitting around, or will be replacing an old one, we would be extremely grateful for a donation. I believe we could pay for the shipping.

If you have any leads, please don't hesitate to PM me. I will provide my e-mail address if needed.

Thanks,

Krak

KRAK;

Contact the pro teams in Korea. Also talk with the American players on each team.

Yesterday the Reds sold the contract of Tom Shearn to Samsung Lions.

Do you watch any games? In 1994, I walked into the Olympic Stadium pretending to be pro scout and was allowed entry to see the Tigers play the Lions. The Lions had 4 girls cheerleaders DISCO dancing on the dugout roof and the Tigers had a one male cheerleader. In the mornings, I joined a group of woman practicing "ti chi" in the Olympic Village.

Do you have the Baseball America Directory? It has the e-mails address of each pro team.

Maybe you can "Woody" lead cheers in exchange for a pitching machine.
