I think 180K would be more appropriate.
If I were Clausen this would be simple. I would gladly give Newton my #2 jersey while wearing my new #1 jersey and complimenting him for publicly acknowledging that he is the back up quarterback.

When athletes are pampered and allowed to be above it all they get a sense of entitlement. Cam Newton has not lived a clean athletic life. There are questions about his character. But as long as there's someone telling him how great he is and willing to enable him he won't change. He's a HUGE risk as a first pick in the draft.
Recently I was reading an article about pro sports drafts. When a player goes lower than expected it's not about his skill potential. It's about his ability to fit in, learn the system and be a leader.
Sometimes punk athletes are fortunate to be drafted by pro franchises that won't put up with any BS and straighten them out.
