He'll have plenty of time to post when he gets home from dinner. Smile
GED10, I believe that is Calvin Koonce, one of the nice, finest people you'd ever want to meet. Not only did he provide a stellar arm out of the pen with the Cubs, Mets and Red Sox, he also was a North Carolinian, coached at Campbell, and ran the Fayetteville Generals SAL franchise. Cal left this world too soon, but I'll always remember what a gentleman he was. He told great stories about the '69 Mets, his memories of Ken Hubbs before the plane crash, and rooming with Yaz.
