your bottom half can be more explosive and on some swings you seem to shift THEN swing..you have a decent swing not sure you are major league ready though..Good luck to you Choctaw, you have some good stuff happening

This is probably one of the better swings I've seen on here. You've got a pretty decent lower body action, though I've yet to look at it frame by frame. The thing I would work on right now is pulling back with the lower back. If you can feel a hip coil (i.e. a dynamic rotational moving of weight), then you're halfway there.

Work on pinching the scap. And turning the barrel. Try to break the handle in half. Honestly, go ahead and try it with your hands. Do it towards the dugout.

finish go back to the other hang out and revisit the corner thread,,look at bm's explanation of how the right hand turns.he draws the lines on the right hand knuckles and shows the hand rotation..this promotes dump in my opinion.

BM is promoting top hand swivel. This drill and the "barrel dump drill" are designed to feel the action of one gear working against another. Let me provide a better clip for our friend ChoctawTaylor (who has a very nice American Indian reference in his ID)

Admittedly, there are some things I would change with the demo, but I think it's OK in showing the action.

I thinks thats swing builder in the clip either way ..the clip i'm referring to is the "corner" clip..it was a close up of the top hand only.BM drew lines on the top knuckles which were vertical and facing the catcher showing them turning to horizontal facing the pitcher..thats the desired move imo.

i've been looking over there for it for a day now..lol..its just the top hand with lines drawn across the vertical top knuckles and how they turn to become horizontal in the front..i thought it was in the corner thread BUT i cant even find that one,,it shows the top hand and how it HELPS turns the barrel while causing the elbow to drop naturally.gets you quickly in the "palms up" position
