This is my sons sophomore year in high school and his first year on Varsity. He could have played Varsity last year, but we decided to hold him back to get more paying time on J.V. He is 6'-3" and 178 lbs. Throws right, bats left. Pitching is way beyond his batting, but he is working on his hitting. Fastball average is 82-84 and tops off at 87. Good curve and change up.

We have tryouts on Monday, March 11 and I can't wait!!! It's safe to say that I think about baseball more than he does. I see the potential he has and it's very exciting. Can't wait for the season to begin so I can share a few videos with the rest of the baseball nuts. I would love some feed back on his pitching.

Is there any Michigan people on this website?

LOL!  Bob - I went to the Rose Bowl for the first time in my life this past January 1 and I can completely understand why you stayed!

Simply one of the most fun days of my life!  #GoStanford!
