Did the search, nothing real recent so I wanted to update the question.  Son 2015 LHP played in a couple of showcase events in which the recruiting service was assoc. with down in Univ. of Ark. The tournament web site had a link for a free trial which he accepted, they noted which colleges would be at the event, he uploaded his profile, some pix and detailed info.  Free trial expired I guess months ago, however he has received several emails over the past few weeks that college coaches has found his profile.  He did pitch very well with a CG at Baum and there were several coaches there looking at him.   Call me a skeptic, you know the story,  monthly charge for the service (etc) for him to see what coaches were looking.  Not here to bash a recruiting service or there intent.  Opinions, + or -  ????

Got same pitch for free set up, did the same thing for free month, getting a lot of same emails. My feeling is 2014 phone number and email are on his profile and it can be updated at anytime for free. If a college coach looked at the profile and wanted to contact you. he has the information. My son is rather close to deciding where he wants to go to college and gets emails, and phone calls rather regularly at moment. The college coaches really interested know how to get a hold of him IMO

There is nothing more exciting then logging on daily to see which schools have been looking at your sons profile and videos. Wife fell for this and paid the $19 a month to see who had contacted our sons coach and was viewing his profile. I then get hooked and add additional videos and check daily for hit total. Lots of looks and inquires but only one school we know of contacted him due to the recruiting service. It did however, break down what division the school played in and what they were looking for position wise. This helped us make a realistic target list of schools.

Was the service worth the monthly price? I guess, we paid it, but every serious call/visit came due to Jr. being seen on the field. Offers came after second/third look by different coach from same college. 2014 is committed to a Pac-12 school.

Get your kid in front of coaches at showcases.  They will contact you if they're interested.  They will.  You don't need to contact them initially.

Spend your money and time being seen in person.  If they're not calling you, then spend your money and time getting better. Then, repeat.

However, if you're a pitcher of any age and can't max at 85, then why showcase?  They're not going to call. Work on velocity first.

Thanks for the info,  my thoughts are similar in that enough info is on the profile they can reach out as needed.  He is already playing for a org. of good reputation and track record in regards to signing kids at all levels.  Pretty much now a PO and will do all showcase.  To Bums ? he's sitting 78-82 and the offspeed if off the chart.  I just want to make sure I am not overlooking some things, lots of bad info out there and unrealistic expectations in parents IMO. Thanks
