catalyst end cap came off

My son had the blue, big barrel Catalyst. A couple of weeks ago, the end cap came off.

It was still under warranty, so he will be getting a new bat sent to him. Since they no longer make the Catalyst they are sending him the Triton.

Is yours still under warranty?

I did read somewhere about using some marine type of glue. Maybe someone else could recall the name....

It's not under warranty anymore I'm sure. He's had it for about 2 years.

As a matter of fact, we originally had the blue one, and it cracked within a month, so they sent us the green one. He really only used it in games, so I think it's still good. I will call Louisville Slugger on Monday and see what they say..

The epoxy might be "Marine-Tex" that you are talking about.It is very popular and used for many purposes.I've never heard of it being used for end caps but wouldn't doubt it would work.Since the bat isn't under warranty,I'd try it.

The guy @ Louisville Slugger told me to try Gorilla Glue. I'll keep you posted..
