Anyone have a example of the catching wrist bands and the chart used to manage pitches / pick offs? We are moving to this system this year at 10U level to try and give the catcher a idea of calling his own game. If you have one please email it to d_piersall@hotmail.com or post it in here. Thanks in advance for your help.

No redbird5, we are a 10u travel team and i want to use the wrist bands so the catcher starts to get a feel for the inside, outside and time to throw differnt pitchers. I will talk to them between innings and differnt situations and reasons behind differnt pitches in hopes to let them go on there own by seasons end. Just fastballs 2 seam and 4 seam and change-ups with the occasional knuckle. get them thinking about it instead of being robots.
Oh I see, are you putting down what are good possible pitches for the count, but still letting the players decide what they want to call.

By the way I think it is a great idea to let the catchers call game. They have to learn sometimes and I feel it just gives the catchers a better perspective on the game and how to handle the pitchers in general.
I like the younger guys learning the game and calling their own game - that's great! I did the same thing with my teams over the years. However, pitch sequences are based off previous pitches thrown as well as strengths/weaknesses of the hitter and pitcher. I am veyr interested in learning how Coach Dave will use this tool.
