The Central Florida Renegades are holding tryouts for its 18-under Fall/Summer team on August 6th 10 a.m. at Winter Park High School. To play on this team plyers can be 16-18 years old. The rain date for this tryout is August 7th.
Players from the entire state of Florida are welcome to attend this tryout. We expect several professional scouts and college coaches will be in attendence as well.
The tryouts continue on August 13th @ 10 a.m. at Winter Park High School. We suggest that players plan to attend both workouts.
The fall team will play a weekend schedule that includes games against junior college competitons (Seminole CC, Santa Fe, etc.), showcase events (Treasure Coast Showcase, Southwest Florida Showcase), and the prestigious World Wood Bat Championships hosted by Perfect Game.
The summer team plays Connie Mack baseball and will enter the Perfect Game summer tournament as well.
The coaching staff includes manager Josh Holt (Flagler College), assisted by Roger Holt (NY Yankees), Steve Ratzer (NY Mets, Montreal Expos), Rich Billings (Rollins), and Winter Park head coach Bob King (St. Francis).

Directions to Winter Park. I-4 to Fairbanks Avenue. Go south to Lakemont (Fairbanks changes its name several times before this street). At Lakemont turn right and go to Whitehall Stree and turn left. Then go to Greene Street and turn right onto the Winter Park campus. Make a left on campus and you will see the baseball field on the right.
