...when we were kids but not on the same teams...

Just to get this acceptable to this site.

In my opinion...The decision he made at the end of the game on 4th and 7, will live in the annals of football history as one of the dumbest decisions a head coach has ever made when he could have easily won with a "chip shot" (for a major college kicker) field goal.

If he makes nearly $3 million a year as a head coach, he should give half of it back so they can clean up the "Grotto". Worse, it makes it seem you don't have to know anything and can be a major college coach!

Shame on him and his decision making today.

They fired Ty because they did not win enough. At least thats what they said. They are keeping Charlie , why? Because they dont want to admit they made a bad move? The guy is a clown. He can not recruit. He makes ridiculous game situation decisions. The only call worse than the off tackle run for the two point try was the going for it instead of kicking the fg. I for one hope they keep him at ND. I love to see them lose.

Now I must pull for the Blue Devils. Go Duke. Beat ND at ND. Now that would top it off for me.

He makes that guy from Moeller (years ago) look like Albert Einstein.

Gerry Faust.

I think the problem is recruiting along with bone-headed coaching. The guy comes across to me as arrogant and I wonder how that rubs people.

Did anyone see how those Navy kids reacted after they won? I'll bet 90% or more of their roster coming out of high school was ranked below kids playing the same positions as ND. They went out and showed the country that rankings do not win football games.

As much as I enjoy watching ND lose I cannot watch a game because everytime I see Weis on the sideline he looks like heart attack ready to happen.

Maybe next year they could play the University of Maryland, and Weis and Friedgen could sumo wrestle for the opening kickoff? Or in lieu of overtime as a tie breaker?
