Chat?!

I am probably going to show my age ..... but what is a "chat" .... is that an invitation to private message or is there an on-line chat feature on hsbaseballweb?

There is a chat feature on the HSBBW. You can sign onto the chat room by moving your cursor over to the LH side of this screen and when it rest on the green vertical bar a "slide out" site menu appears. Notice the Chat Room next to the bottom? Most people don't even know about the site menu. The "chat" feature is a great feature where people can chat about baseball. The "chat" room has no defined schedule so people will come on to the message boards and request a chat from time to time. Sundays and Wednesday evenings used to be "chat time" on the HSBBW but not sure if that still holds true. Maybe someone else can help here. Maybe we can get back to defining a set time to chat. Enjoy it. It's a lot of fun.

I have never noticed the green vertical bar before....even after Fungo pointed it out it still took me a while to find it.

The Sunday and Weds night times were very popular and I think would be again if we got into that habit. Also, Friday or Saturday will draw a good size crowd, including some of the younger posters... especially if you announce ahead of time. If you're interested in chatting, announce it here and go sit... then wait and see who shows up! Kinda like hosting an open house!

Friday nights and Sunday nights were popular during the winter doldrums.
