To those who have supported us, and those who'd like to start, send us your powerful vibes as we head into the first ever Far East Baseball Tournament (all US military high schools in the western Pacific). The tournament starts in earnest on Monday. We fly from Seoul to Tokyo today.

Here's a link to ongoing photo coverage.

And text coverage will appear here.

Wish us good luck and good weather!

Thanks, the district finally came through for all baseball teams in the Pacific -- budgeting enough for each team to get new uniforms - first time in years we haven't had to buy our own. I did have to take the tops in to a tailor in Seoul and have him add the black panels to keep them from looking like Good Humor Ice Cream men out there!

I know where that is. I used to live down in Itaewon when I was stationed there. Had a nice apartment but learned early on that I should have gotten offstreet parking. I had this 92 Hyndai Sonata that I called the golf ball because it had more dimples in it than a Titleist. Parking on the street knocked off a mirror, banged up the car repeatedly.

I loved it there though. I guess after 9-11 the party atmosphere died down somewhat but I have heard it is still fun there.
