I can only hope Sam Zell shakes up the editorial along with the advertising when he takes over the Trib. Last week may have been one of the most filled HS Baseball schedules ever due to the recent weather and we have no coverage in Chicago's flagship paper.

As an outdoorsman, their replacement several years ago of the late John Husar, with their current outdoors writer shows just how out of touch they are. They hired an outdoors writer that doesn't participate in the outdoors sports. He doesn't hunt at all (in fact he doesn't own a gun), and rarely fishes.

If the Trib doesn't open its eyes to the market, I sure hope the Sun-Times lets Sean have a big budget and a long leash to cover the sport they way they should...

CPLZ, I saw all kinds of HS coverage in the Tribune last weekend. At least 2 or 3 articles about the sox each day!
