baseball not on the radar, but a bigger issue is the school's financial situation. They are on the brink of bankruptcy, have cut many class offerings, professors, programs, extras, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is dangerous--one of the worst in ATlanta. Recently a young woman was killed walking across the campus, the victim of gun-fight crossfire. The only grocery store within 2 miles just closed, so no real businesses are there. Uggh! It's in a very sad state and can't seem to pull itself out of the hole it is in. At one point it had lost its accreditation, and I'm not sure it has regained it. Are you sure this is a school you'd want to look at??

I checked further and understand that the college's accreditation is no longer threatened, and in fact is secure through 2016. They laid off about 70 faculty members and 30 full time staff earlier in the year in response to large exodus of student body. They consolidated some classes, and received a bailout from some large private donors, so are financially hanging in there at this point. They are working on safety, but there is a public street running through campus that will need to be closed in order to keep the thugs out. Legal dealings with the city before that can happen.

Baseball: First year coach in 2009. Lost far more games than won. (Maybe won 3?)
