You seriously think no one's mentioned it? The MLBPA is one of the most powerful unions in the world. They're the last of the major sports without a cap of one kind or another. I don't think you'll see it soon. Too many other issues. I think the owners are "yellow" these days when it comes to bargaining with the players. It took so long for them to even begin to recover after the last work stoppage and at that time they were brought from the brink by a steroid induced home run race. As long as they have revenue sharing I think the owners are going to stand pat. JMHO.
