Better! It looks like he's coiling (though it's tough to tell from this angle). He doesn't need to turn the foot in that much. He can keep it square, if he wants, but he always has to have two eye contact with the pitcher.

Now, when he picks up his foot, have him turn his pelvis right, to hold the coil and prevent him from getting out on his front foot.
