Keep working george. The one thing I see when I pause the clip is right at the time your hands begin disconnecting from your shoulders, your front (left) foot is already way too open and you are on your heel and outside of your foot. Too soon IMO. You should be flat footed or on the ball of your front foot until contact, then your foot will naturally roll over, your weight will shift to your heel. When you are doing this, your hips and shoulders will follow what your foot is doing, therefore your will be open too soon. You will have good inside plater coverage, but can be beaten away. Stay square or over the ball longer and let the body take its natural path after contact.

In my opinion, if you want to learn lower body mechanics, see what Mike Epstein teaches. The reason you can't hit the ball in the air is your swing path (which is down at the moment). Also your hands are firing from in front of your back shoulder, which may be good for making contact now, but you will never hit for any power that way. You should feel a stretch in the back of your front shoulder (by pushing your hands back toward the catcher). If you want to learn the best swing path, look at the clips below.
