Agree with justbaseball that an actual conversation would be required. The question is largely moot anyway.

D3: There are no limitations on contact.
D2: A rule change effective this year allows coaches to call on or after June 15 following the sophomore year, and there is no limit on the frequency of calls.
D1: Similar proposals to D2 are on the table, and I expect one of them will be adopted, at least regarding frequency of calls. However, the existing D1 rule has no limit on calls from a baseball coach during a contact period after July 1 following the junior year. (13.1.3.1.1) Baseball contact periods vary from year to year, but roughly anytime between March 1 and the middle of November is OK.

Thank you SO MUCH! For some reason we thought it was once/week for D-I beginning July 1.
