Wow! The weight room , locker room , training room , academic center, cafeteria , indoor batting cages , bull pens etc are unreal. The team room is awesome as well. There is video set up to record every swing on the field as well as video in the hitting center. I have been told there are 57 flat screen tv's inside the stadium as well. When you walk up there is a courtyard named after George Steinbrenner. He dontated to have it named after him. There is a former players wall where there is a name plate with every player that has ever played at UNC. So many other things that make it very special as well. I believe the price tag is around 23 million dollars with a new scoreboard going up before next season. All of the money was raised by private donations I have been told. What is really neat for the players as well is right behind the left field fence and right beside the right field line are the dorms the players live in. Its definitely a first class facility in every way. I know the coaches are excited about it and obviously so are the players. Playing away from home and having to practice away from home has been tough. But I think the wait will be worth it after seeing this place.
