Well good grief! I was thinking how happy and proud his wife must be, but then I read her quote and realized she gets to be Mrs. Coach's wife of the year!

I guess the coaches son was Schiltz out of luck. 
You know what? I hope this kid gets drafted 1st round and gets a signing bonus of 1 mil+. Then when dear ol' dad comes and congratulates him, the kid says, "Oh. I traded you to a case of Bud. Here's your son." 
And the beer was warm, to boot.

Does anyone else think the kid is actually better off on another team? And if his dad is going to work around him, what is to say that the son won't let his new coach know some of his daddy's coaching tricks? Hopefully the apple fell far from the tree here ...

Way funny. Schlitz is still around, it's Blatz that's missed.
My wife told my older son that he'd better do his best to get to the MLB because we haven't done a real good job of retirement planning and she was counting on him.
"Mom, I promise, when I make to the majors, I'm gonna pay you back that $30 a week allowance as long as you need it".
