Just heard that Coach Palmer of the Lakeside Cardinals passed away this morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Palmer family and those who he touched over his many years of coaching.

My condolences go out to the Palmer family. My son played baseball for him for two years and I have to say that Bill was quite a character and will be missed by those people and baseball players who were fortunate enough to meet him or play for him.
We played against the Cardinals for many years... my condolences to Coach Palmer's family.

THE KIDS ARE GOING TO MISS HIM AS WELL AS THE FELLOW COACHES who went up against his squad...Definitely an OLD Timer when it came to his experience with the LAKESIDE CARDINALS and the local fields he worked on.... but young as heck at heart..
